Receiving payments for orders using Storat Pay

Overview

Upon booking a service, customers have the option to pay for the service at the time of delivery by choosing the Credit Card on Delivery (CCOD) option. If the customer selects Credit Card on Delivery (CCOD), the payment should be processed using Storat Pay. 

 You will need an Order Code to be able to process the payment of the service & redeem the order. The order code is in the order details on the Orders dashboard. 

If customer elect cash on delivery at the time of booking, you can still convert the order to credit card and capture the payment using pay.storat.com

Steps to redeem an order with Storat Pay

1. Open Storat Pay in a browser by visiting pay.storat.com.
   

2. Enter the order code in the order code field and click Next.
   

3. If the order code is correct, this will open the order details page. Double-check the customer information, service, merchant name, and amount due. If all is correct, click on the Pay button. 
   

4. The payment information screen will open. If we have a credit card on file for this customer,  you don't have to enter his credit card again. If not, you must enter the credit card details (card number, expiry month and year, and CVV from the back of the card). 
   

5. If you have delivered the service, make sure to keep the checkbox Redeem the order with the payment selected.
   

6. Click on Pay Now. 
   

7. If the payment is successfully done you will see a confirmation on the screen. Also, you and the customer will receive a confirmation email for the payment.
   

8. If the payment fails more than three times, you will get a notification on the screen as well as you will receive an email. you have to go to Store manager order dashboard and convert payment method to cash on delivery, then you can proceed in collecting the payment in cash from the customer.
